Rode Military Rd. on Saturday. Nice ride, legs felt strong, no problems. 

Rode Arlington Loop yesterday, 

past the Pentagon Ba Dum Ba Dum Ba Dum

down the river past the Memorials Ba Dum Ba Dum Ba Dum

up the hill from Key Bridge to Ballston Ba Dum Ba Dum Ba Dum

It was at this point that I stopped to look at the back tire. There was a section of tire that was misshapen, so that every time it revolved it felt like I was hitting a small bump. 

All the way home, Ba Dum Ba Dum Ba Dum. 

Today I rode into work the short way, and then home the long way. Ba Dum Ba Dum Ba Dum all the way home; when I looked down at my tire about a mile from home, I noticed that a piece of rubber at the misshapen spot had come off, with a quarter sized patch of belt showing. Ruh roh. 

I was right in front of my building, pulling into the car loop, and KAPOW. There goes the tube, and there goes all of the green tire goo (not put in there by me) onto the back of my leg.
