The following five minute movie was made by stitching together over 6,000 individual paintings. This is an incredible testament to an artist’s patience:

Amazing stuff. Whats really interesting is that it stands as both a fascinating piece of art and well-shot film. I’m curious as to how (or if) the artist Reza Dolatabadi storyboarded the entire film out frame-by-frame before commiting to each painting- perhaps rough animatics that were eventually filled out into the final product?
